Hi, I’m Jay Capodanno, founder of Marconi Works.
I currently serve as the Content & Community Manager at 360 CHICAGO and CloudBar Chicago, where I lead in-house content creation across social media, experiential marketing, and brand storytelling.
I help brands create high-quality content that looks great, connects with audiences, and supports real business growth.
What I Do
Inside one of Chicago’s most recognizable tourism and hospitality brands, I develop and produce creative assets for organic and paid campaigns, including short-form video, photography, drone cinematography, graphic design, signage, and promotional content. As an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot, I also capture indoor fly-throughs and outdoor aerial footage that showcase venues, events, properties, and destinations from a new perspective. Every asset is created with larger marketing goals, performance, and audience engagement in mind.
Working in-house has given me hands-on experience collaborating with marketing teams, paid media partners, PR, and leadership to create content that delivers measurable results while maintaining a strong creative standard. Through Marconi Works, I bring that same approach to brands looking for a creative partner who can handle everything from photography and video production to aerial content, storytelling, and digital strategy.

I believe strong content sits at the intersection of creativity and intention. Before producing anything, I focus on understanding the brand, the audience, and the objective. From there, I build content that feels authentic, visually compelling, and aligned with the bigger picture. No fluff. No overcomplication. Just thoughtful creative built to support growth.
